91ÊÓƵרÇø Million Hearts® launched in summer 2018 and the college joined the .  This consortium, led by The Ohio State University College of Nursing, includes more than 150 health care practice and education organizations working to advance the goal of prevention one million heart attacks and strokes in five years.

Six 91ÊÓƵרÇø College Nursing students have been trained through the Million Hearts® Fellowship, also offered by The Ohio State University College of Nursing. Students provide screening and health coaching to help participants make heart-healthy lifestyle changes. To date, 91ÊÓƵרÇø Nursing students have screened and coached more than 40 participants at 91ÊÓƵרÇø College and are expanding to the greater Frederick community, having provided close to 75 screenings at partner locations such as the Frederick County Health Department, YMCA of Frederick County, various local pharmacies and county senior centers.
