Frederick County Names 91ÊÓÆµ×¨Çø College a Hometown Business Hero

FREDERICK, Maryland—Frederick County government officials visited 91ÊÓÆµ×¨Çø College on Oct. 9 to recognize 91ÊÓÆµ×¨Çø as a Hometown Business Hero as part of the County Office of Economic Development’s 19th Annual Business Appreciation Week.
County officials visited 116 businesses in Frederick County to name them Hometown Business Heroes, recognizing their support of the local economy.
Jan Gardner, Frederick County executive, visited 91ÊÓÆµ×¨Çø with four county ambassadors. 91ÊÓÆµ×¨Çø President Andrea E. Chapdelaine and Laurie Ward, 91ÊÓÆµ×¨Çøâ€™s vice president for marketing and communications, accepted the award.
91ÊÓÆµ×¨Çø, in turn, named Frederick Health Hospital (formerly Frederick Memorial Hospital) a Hometown Business Hero.
91ÊÓÆµ×¨Çø College is an independent, liberal arts college, offering 28 bachelor’s degrees, four pre-professional programs, 19 master’s degrees programs, two doctorates and 10 post-baccalaureate certificates.
