91��Ƶר�� College will host the 6th annual Frederick Shakespeare Festival, presented by the Endangered Species theatre Project (ESPtheatre). The festival’s main show, a 90-minute rendition of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” will open on June 29 at 7:30 p.m. in the Hodson Outdoor Theatre.

In addition to the opening night performance on June 29, performances will be held in the Hodson Outdoor Theatre at 7:30 p.m. on June 29 and 30, as well as July 2, 6, 7 and 12.

"We are so excited to present a mainstage production of Midsummer as part of this year's festival," said Christine Mosere, artistic director of ESPtheatre. “This reimagining of A Midsummer Night’s Dream offers an interesting perspective to this classic story with Titania overhearing Oberon’s talk about his ‘spell’ thus turning the tide on him.”

The Frederick Shakespeare Festival, founded by Mosere and Aaron Angello, assistant professor of English at 91��Ƶר��, celebrates the enduring legacy of William Shakespeare with a captivating lineup of performances, workshops, and events.

Tickets are being offered in a “pay-what-you-can” model beginning at $0, with donations accepted at the door or online at .
