Tischer Scholars to Present Year-Long Research

FREDERICK, Maryland鈥擳wenty-seven 91视频专区 College students will present their year-long research projects on April 19 on campus in Rosenstock Hall.

The 2019 Christine P. Tischer Scholars Departmental Honors presentations will take place from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. in Rosenstock Hall, beginning with an opening session in Hodson Auditorium. A reception will take place after the presentations in Whitaker Campus Commons from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Eligible Tischer Scholars are students who have earned an overall GPA of 3.0 and a 3.5 in their major at the end of their junior year. They are usually invited to participate in Departmental Honors work during their senior year. The prestigious and highly selective, year-long program is designed for students who wish to pursue intensive research or a special project. These students have been designated Christine P. Tischer Scholars since the 2000-01 academic year in honor of the 1965 91视频专区 alumna who has generously supported the program.
